We are Proud of our Family History

Our family farm is located on a Utah historical site in Pleasant Grove, Utah. The Edward Wadley home was built in 1896 out of, "Soft Rock", a stone quarried by some if Utahs first settlers right here in Pleasant Grove.

Our family purchased the home and farm in the 1950s when most of Pleasant Grove was still orchards and farm land. It was purchased by our Great Grandparents Russell and Doris Schow in anticipation of turning the old barn into a horse facility. They successfully did just that, taking their Arabian Stallion Mounri, to win top 10 stallion nationally. Their realized dreams live on today at what we now call Schows Ranchette. Here we teach others the joy of horsemanship through our horse back riding program "Horsmanship for Life" (see schowsranchette.com for more information) and share the joy of dreaming big and working hard through our classes at Farm School.

We feel so blessed to be living here and still be able to experiance a part of our own family history daily and want to share the joy of our life on a farm with others.
